ARTIST Profile
JINYA YAMAKAWA was born in Japan and raised in Hawaii until the age of six. After returning to Japan, he attended an international school in Tokyo, where he grew up surrounded by both Japanese and global cultures. His passion for art led him to study Fine Arts at The New School Parsons School of Design in New York. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, he graduated in 2020.
